Camera Equipment

Most videographers and photographers will prefer to bring and use their own equipment. However, for those just starting out, Studio 588 currently has three Sony Digital 8 camcorders, one Sony high definition camera, and one Canon HC-20 high definition camcorder that can be used. In addition, there is one very nice directional microphone, numerous tripods, a microphone stand, dubbing cables, and IEEE 1384 cables. These will enable you to do a two or three camera shoot, get excellent sound even at a distance, make back-up tapes, and download tapes into computer files all without leaving the studio.

The studio also has one 9 megapixel and one 6 megapixel digital still camera available for use, and cables for offloading to a computer.
