Forest
Studio 588 occupies 50 acres of mixed woodland. The trees are mostly oak, hickory, and longleaf pine. Most of the area is fairly open under the trees but the area immediately around the house and filming sets is more densely foliated. The terrain mostly has a slight slope, with the house near the top of the hill, but there are some more steeply sloped locations as well. Electrical service and water are not available except in the vicinity of the house.
