Work Opportunities
Starting in the summer of 2007, Studio 588 has offered opportunities for paid acting assignments. These assignments pay well. Although the actual daily amount earned depends on multiple variables, of which one is the weather, a physically fit performer on a good day will earn from 300 to 600 dollars. Optionally, co-production arrangements can be made with the potential for even more. Part of the fee that may be earned by a performer is from bonuses for topless or nude scenes. However, a preference to avoid such scenes is not (not in any way) an impediment to work. Even when the performer might prefer such scenes, only 20 to 40 percent are likely to be topless and fully nude scenes are likely to be very rare.
Weather permitting, a typical day at Studio 588 will consist of three to five shooting "sessions"; two in the morning, two in the afternoon, and one after dark. A shooting session begins with makeup and wardrobe and ends with a clean-up and may involve material for use in more than one eventual "scene." Bonuses are given for sessions beyond the third per day, and the potential earnings suggested above is based on an assumption of five sessions.
Studio 588 does not produce, or allow to be produced, material definable legally as pornography. However, all performers must be at least 20 years of age, or 21 if performing topless.
Potential performers and models need not have experience, but are expected to be totally reliable. Please see the section on "Physical Requirements" for further information.
Sorry guys! Although there may occasionally be support roles for males, these are generally assigned to members of the crew and are unpaid in any case. Other producers using the studio facilities may have different needs.
