Kitchen and Utilities
Our kitchen is compact but fully equipped. Aside from the obvious stove, sink, and refrigerator, there is a toaster oven, coffee-maker, and microwave. There is no dishwasher or garbage disposal.
For a quicksand shoot its pretty important to have a good laundry. Without it a lot of practically new, if rather dirty, wardrobe goes directly to the dumpster. We have a washer and dryer available.
Lodging is not one of the stronger features of Studio 588. There are two small bedrooms, one of which is shown below. Each has a twin-sized bed, and one belongs to the facility manager. For guests who don't mind sharing a room, there are five additional cots and sleeping bags that can be set up in the living room. Those who are uncomfortable with that sort of arrangement may prefer to use a motel. Unfortunately, the nearest motel is 30 miles away.
