Work as a Crew Member

The shooting season for 2013 will begin approximately June 10 and run to about the end of August, but most shoots will be in late June or July when the weather is warmest (okay, hottest). There will be several positions available for persons to serve as members of the crew. These will be volunteer positions, although lodging and meals will be provided. Note that the lodging provided is at the studio, using a cot. If you prefer a motel you provide that. As a general rule, crew members will need to be available for a four-day period; two full days of shooting and half a day before and after, and firm commitments are needed WELL in advance.

There will be a number of occasions when two shoots are scheduled back to back with a single day between. These will make it possible to work with two shoots while being on site for only five full days and two partial days.

Crew member duties will include the full range of support for a shoot, including operating a camera, moving equipment, preparing meals, doing dishes and laundry (yep, we actually salvage most of what goes into the mud), and running errands if necessary. By request, you can even get to direct a scene if you are ready to do so, but lets talk about that MONTHS in advance, not during the shoot.

Crew members will work fairly hard during the shoot and are expected to behave in a professional manner. All crew members must be 21 years or older. Please inquire to fred588@gmail.com if interested.
